1. First Round of Fine Games' 2013 Annual Clearance Sale

It is time.

We are pleased to announce our biggest & best offering on games this year, the First Round of Fine Games Annual Clearance Sale. It is our biggest sale of the year both in terms of the 800 items included as well as our aggressive intent to offer you an irresistible deal. We'd very much like to thin our inventory by putting a bundle of games & magazines in your hands in time for the holidays.

This year, we have focused on all of our used (punched) magazine-games, many of our Magazine-onlys (such as Commands, Paper Wars and selected issues of the AH General, S&T, Moves & F&M), most of our ASL boards, and then a slug of brand new games & mag-game from a wide variety of publishers. All at Rock Bottom clearance prices.

Each item is individually priced, using logical pricing increments, and there is no limit to the number of items you can purchase. Just go to our Annual Clearance Sale web page, and download the Annual Clearance Sale Catalog from there.

FYI, we are still considering options for our Second Round of our Annual Clearance. It is likely to be announced about the first Monday in December. In any case, it will be in addition to this offer here, and both expire on 20 December.

Remember, things sell quickly on this sale, and most items are available only in single quantities, so don't delay in looking it over. We have already sold over 10% of our original offerings since informally announcing it to subscribers last week (tho many of those were replaced by additional copies.)

Again, all items must be paid for & ship this year to qualify for clearance pricing.

2. Free Shipping on ALL Merchandise Orders of $150 or more thru November.

Thru the end of November, orders of $150 or more shipped within the 48 states receive free shipping. Your shipping cost is ZERO. Orders outside the 48 states, including APO, AK, HI and foreign addresses receive a $15 credit. This applies to all orders placed by 30 Nov, and paid promptly. See our Annual Clearance Sale page for full details.

We do have many shipping options at our disposal, so if you have any doubts or questions, please contact us about your specific needs. 4. Print a Listing Of Our Complete Inventory

You can combine any other item we sell into an order that includes clearance list items, above. We offer you two highly formatted, print catalogs which you can take to the reading room, or whereever you do you careful reading.

Our first catalog is about 70pgs long, and represents the heart of our inventory. No parts, few magazine-onlys, but lots & lots of games. Organized by publisher.

You can print a catalog of the full breadth of our game inventory. This catalog shows ALL the games, magazines, supplies, parts, etc, we offer (omitting only redundant listings). It is huge, well over 176pgs, but it's everything except duplicate listings. Organized by historical era & specific topic.

5. 2013 in Overview From Fine Games

Our business has shifted thru this oh-so-long recession. We now do the bulk of our business via Amazon. Strange but true. Alas, Amazon's systems are typically rather tedious & time consuming. So, Fine Games has had to cut some of the services that have proved disappointingly unproductive. Our Update Newsletter is chief among those reduced services as our emails now compete with the too-many other emails all of us receive these days - when they arrive at all. Consequently, this is the first newsletter since early January.

Thankfully, our hobby distribution system has been pretty stable during the last couple of years on the whole. No major shake ups or melt downs. But finding war games at distributors becomes harder year by year. Selling direct appears to be the future for wargame publishers. Avalanche Press has embraced that, often not selling their new games at all to distributors and consequently not getting good coverage on the balance of their line. Small or new publishers can't get distribution at all, forcing them to go direct until they prove themselves in the market. By then, why do they need distributors?

6. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are always available in any denomination. They make great gifts for the gamers in your life, relieving you of the chore of selecting games for them. Just tell us what denomination you'd like, and we'll then mail the 'gift of games' to you or to your lucky gift recipient.

Fine Games gift certificates never expire, and can be used in part or whole towards the purchase of everything we offer including shipping. We can snail mail a certificate, or email a PDF copy to you to print & gift wrap without delay.

Thanks for your business and support, YOU keep us going. Happy holidays!
